RNSG 1301 (NT) - PharmacologySemester Credit Hour(s): 3 Lecture Hour(s) Each Week: 3 Lab Hour(s) Each Week: 0 Introduction to the science of pharmacology with emphasis on the actions, interactions, adverse effect and nursing implications of drug classifications. Content includes the roles and responsibilities of the nurse in safe administration of medications within a legal/ethical framework. Identify the roles and responsibilities of the professional nurse in administering pharmacological agents; and explain the safe utilization of medications Prerequisite(s): Student must be TSI complete. BIOL 2401 or 2402. The student must successfully complete all Level I course in order to progress to Level II. The transition student must pass all first semester courses in order to be able to progress to Level III nursing courses.
