Introduction to Linux operating system. Includes Linux installation, basic administration, utilities and commands, upgrading, networking, security, and application installation. Emphasizes hands-on setup, administration, and management of Linux. Students prepare for the CompTIA Linux+ certification exam.
Prerequisite(s): Eligible to enroll in ENGL 0301 and ENGL 1301 and a math co-requisite support course
