DAAC 1260 (NT) - Clinical I - Substance Abuse/Addiction Counseling

Practical, general workplace training supported by an individual learning plan developed by the employer, college, and student. Students enrolled in this course participate in an educationally-directed internship under the supervision of a LCDC in an agency. Students must complete 150 clock hours of internship in the agency and attend a regularly scheduled seminar, on campus, which is designed to help students integrate their internship experiences with what they have learned in the classroom.
Prerequisite(s): Completion of DAAC 1304 , DAAC 1305 , DAAC 1309 , DAAC 1311 , DAAC 1317 and DAAC 1319 with a grade of “C” or higher
