GEOL 1403 (T) - Physical Geology (lecture + lab)Semester Credit Hour(s): 4 Lecture Hour(s) Each Week: 3 Lab Hour(s) Each Week: 3 Introduction to the study of the materials and processes that have modified and shaped the surface and interior of Earth over time. These processes are described by theories based on experimental data and geologic data gathered from field observations. This course is designed for a variety of students, including geology majors and non-majors. It satisfies the basic science requirement for upper level courses. Laboratory activities will cover methods used to collect and analyze earth science data. Credit value: 4 hours. Prerequisite(s): TSI-complete writing and reading (ELAR).
