NCBM 0143 (NT) - Technical Algebra and Trigonometry NCBOSemester Credit Hour(s): 1 Lecture Hour(s) Each Week: 0 Lab Hour(s) Each Week: 1 The NCBO supports students in developing skills, strategies, and reasoning needed to succeed in Technical Algebra and Trig. Topics include the study of numeracy and the real number system; algebraic concepts, notation and reasoning; quantitative relationships; mathematical models; and problem solving. This intervention is designed specifically for students as a contextualized and/or integrated skills instructional support for a Career/Technical Education course. One hour of lab time is required each week with the instructor. Prerequisite(s): Successful completion of MATH 0300 or an appropriate score on a placment test.
