The study of analysis and writing of tonal melody and diatonic harmony, including all diatonic chords and seventh chords in root position and inversions, non-chord tones, and functional harmony. Introduction to more complex topics, such as modulation, may occur.
Prerequisite(s): MUSI 1311 with a minimum grate of “C” and concurrent enrollment in MUSI 1182 and MUSI 1117 unless waived by department chair
