RNSG 1125 (NT) - Professional Nursing Concepts ISemester Credit Hour(s): 1 Lecture Hour(s) Each Week: 1 Lab Hour(s) Each Week: 0 Introduction to professional nursing concepts and exemplars within the professional nursing roles: Member of Profession, Provider of Patient-Centered Care, Patient Safety Advocate, and Member of the Health Care Team. Content includes clinical judgment, communication, ethical-legal, evidence-based practice, health promotion, informatics, patient-centered care, patient education, professionalism, safety, and teamwork/collaboration. Emphasizes role development of the professional nurse. This course lends itself to a concept-based approach. Prerequisite(s): BIOL 2401 .
