RNSG 2213 (NT) - Mental Health NursingSemester Credit Hour(s): 2 Lecture Hour(s) Each Week: 2 Lab Hour(s) Each Week: 0 Principles and concepts of mental health, psychopathology, and treatment modalities related to the nursing care of clients and their families. Lab provides an opportunity to learn and utilize different modalities, and therapies relating to mental health issues in a controlled environment. Content includes applicable DEC competencies. Prerequisite(s): Admission to the Associate Degree Nursing Program and Prerequisites: RNSG 1413, RNSG 1360, RNSG 1300, RNSG 1301.Concurrent enrollment in RNSG 1160 (Clinical for Mental Health Nursing) is required.
