Institutional Credit Only. Intensive, instructor-monitored development of critical reading, academic writing and higher order thinking skills and academic writing skills necessary for college readiness. Students enrolled in this course must also be enrolled in an appropriate follow-up Excelerate course such as ENGL 1301 or HIST 1301. Failure to pass the exam for this course will result in the student being dropped from enrollment in the college-level Excelerate course. Requires Dept. Chair approval.
