Radiography is a science combining advanced technology and human compassion. Radiographers use their knowledge of physics, human anatomy and physiology to create radiographic images. Successful program completion satisfies the educational requirement for eligibility to sit for the national certification examination in Radiography offered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). Prospective students should submit a Radiologic Science application. Students must have their own transportation to assigned off-campus clinical sites. Science courses must be current (taken within the past seven years). A grade of “C” or higher is required in all math, science, and RADR courses. A student who completes the required courses with an overall average of “C” or higher satisfies the requirements to receive an Associate of Applied Science degree.
